his base is 3.1 this year, aav of 2.225. im thinking its closer to 3 yrs 9-10. its still not bad. i think thats part of why murray targeted him, cost control.

i have a one year old and dont get to see nearly enough games, and rob ray is absolutely horrific trying to explain the game if i listen on the radio ("just look at the replay...")- ITS THE RADIO, IT LOOKS LIKE MY PHONE. if somebody would care to make the point that our defense is severely limiting our offense, because the trade market is absolutely ridiculous for anything resembling a competent second pair defenseman, im all ears. it sounds like we try to limit quality scoring chances while not doing a great job of puck retrieval in our own end, then the forwards are not set up for anything resembling a respectable zone entry. so we try to win games by scoring on the power play- which may or may not include jack eichel, but probably includes derek grant.

Is evander Kane a piece that will be staying? Or is a move best for him? I wouldn't be apposed to taking a flier on him. Whats the cost? Thought I heard he was being shopped.
