I guess so, but just look at Morin. He's lean; Lindros was always a stockier looking guy. Right now Morin is 230ish and rag dolls grown men while still being a speed skater in a straight line. Pronger was 220 and rigidly kept himself that way to maximize his game. We can laugh at the other comparisons, but physically speaking they have the same body type. Plus putting on 10-15 more lbs is easy. Making it muscle is another story.

I just don't like the idea that a player has to keep gaining weight until they're at some arbitrary number. They gain the weight they need or is most natural and ideally no more. Wayne Simmonds weighs about as much as Konecny. Look at Jake and how much an extra 5-10 off, not on, helped him. I don't watch Morin and go, "He could stand to put on more weight."
