What's wrong with that? It's like Tanner hating Shawshank because it's sentimental.
- Wetbandit1

What's wrong with it is that it completely destroyed all EU, canon and source material by completely going against almost everything the original 3 and following prequels established.

I wonder if Bogosian injured himself, injuring Lehner.

The Red Wing guys are seriously pissed about the referee blowing the play dead. The goalie was motionless on the ice and if he wasn't he easily would've made the save.

Edit: Classy fans too.

If I recall correctly Kane does not have a hat trick in his career. Would be nice to see him get one tonight. maybe an empty net goal.

i found an old CBJ sweatshirt at a salvation army 3 years ago, original logo, looked never worn.

I wear it almost every day.

They're my second team. Colorado always has been my West team. But I'm glad to see CBJ doing so good regardless, it's good for hockey.

Since 1995, the average seasons of development it takes a top 2-5 pick in the first round is over 4 seasons. How much longer do you think it logically takes a lower pick in the first round, let alone picks in the 2nd, 3rd, and even lower rounds?

Yes there are outliers, and yes it'd be great if the Sabres had one (hello McCabe, and possibly Guhle, among 4 forwards in the AHL), but the reality is this is the 4th season of development for the 2012 draft.

- kingcong39

Please provide proof of this because it doesn't make any sense. Just going back to 2005, all of the players selected round one 2-5 were producing in the first two seasons since being drafted. Any player drafted 2-5 overall that needs 4+ years to still develop is a bust, not a player.

But since you say 2nd and 3rd rounders need an eternity to develop, than let's look at what we drafted 5-10 years ago (2011-2007 in rounds two and three.) Catenacci, Leduc, Sundher, Mackenzie, McNabb (I've acknowledged him) Adam, Feinhage, Brennan, Schiestel, Tropp

But, you'll come back with, they don't count since we're talking about only 2012 - 2016, right? Because the organizations history doesn't matter apparently. So do you really think that out side of maybe Guhle there is much who is going to develop into quality? We selected Hurley, Karabacek, Cornel, Kea... these guys will never see the NHL. We dumped Compher. And, in reality, Bap, Bailey, Carrier, and Fasching are 3rd, maybe even 4th line grinders, none of them have produced at the NHL level.

We do not have a history of drafting and developing well. Period. We all hope for the best and that our luck will change. But outside of Guhle, there is nothing in our system drafted rounds 2-7 that leads to believe otherwise, it's just wishful thinking.

I provided 'proof' multiple blogs ago.

The question was how long it took a top 5 pick to reach full development, meaning their peak, and the average for picks 2 through 5 was more than 4 seasons.

That doesn't mean they didn't contribute before they reached their peak. It means they didn't hit their peak until into their 5th season, on average, going back the past 10 years.
