Wanna get drunk quick? Play this Rob Ray drinking game:
2- every time he says "opportunity"
2- every time one of our guys does a "good job" at something.
1- every time he has to stop saying a word, because he's mangling it, and repeats himself.
3- each time he says "acrost" instead of "across".
Half- when he speaks too fast and makes one word out of several (i.e. clearssone, passfront, headpassman) |

Still on with the rhetoric about injuries?
So beyond (frank)ing sick of this being the first thing out of every homer Buffalo fan's mouth.
Injuries happen to literally every single team in every single sport.
The GOOD teams still win.
The BAD teams constantly say they got the short end of the stick. |

The hate on this board for Kane and Bogo is a joke - SABRES 89
It's childish at times . I can understand voicing some disgust and him not being a fav of them , But too carry on every Frucking day like it's gonna change because of it ? |

Yes, injuries happen, no they don't all happen to the team's best. If it was Moulson and Gorges nobody would say injuries had much of an impact. But it's been Eichel, and Kane, and ROR, that's tough. Even Ennis is a hit, he's a 20 goal guy. |

He's played in less games if i'm not mistaken then ROR and he has just as many goals. |

Every team? Half of them are the ones acquiring the rentals. We stopped adding to get better, we started adding for the future. - sbroads24
If you really think we started rebuilding at any point under Darcy, you really are out of your mind. The rebuild didn't even start until Patty La La took his puck and went home. |

lol, nice. To be fair, for a guy whose job was to be punched in the face for 15 years the fact that anyone can understand him at all is just this side of a miracle.
Edit: "Red Wings" is always a tough one for him too. |

Good teams have a established team and a coach with a decent system that the players will and willing to play. Our team is still too new . A couple have chemistry but not enough. Our coach .. Nevermind . |

It was. It had a real odd tone to it. Basically shaming the fans and then finished with a subdued "Let's Go Buffalo". |

“ The vision started last season at the trade deadline. We began moving in the direction of having to acquire more top players,” said Regier. “This is about building for the Stanley Cup. Not a playoff run.”
About the Gaustad deadline trade
“It probably needs an understanding from our fan base that what Terry is asking of us [is] to try a lot of things. He is in search of creating a Stanley Cup champion. It may require some suffering,” said Regier.

The hate on this board for Kane and Bogo is a joke - SABRES 89
The hate is always directly connected to how much the team invested to get that player and how how much he costs. If Tyrod wasn't due some huge number next year it wouldn't even be a discussion. But it's everywhere. |

Remember when Crosby (and Letang) were hurt for almost 2 years and Malkin was about the only competent forward on the team? I get it, Malkin is a legit #1 every where else but seriously, they didn't miss a beat. And their entire depth at that point were grinders from Scranton.
Patriots go 3-1 with Tom Brady and the 1 loss to Buffalo this season was a fluke where their 3rd string rookie quarterback with a broken thumb had ZERO healthy receivers to throw to.
How about Los Angeles this season? Their starting goaltender gets hurt right out of the gate and they have PETER (frank)ING BUDAJ strting in net for them and they're sitting pretty in 7th place, which I'm almost positive is a higher standing at this point than they were last season.
Eichel got hurt, okay. O'Reilly was out a few games. Kane torpedoed himself into the boards doing his best Patrick Kaleta impression but he's only good for 15-20 goals a season at this point anyway. Kulikov? Pretty sure Falk would be a better choice at this point, even Nelson but point is, it wasn't much of a loss. Ennis is not a loss. You have 20 goal scorers everywhere. Stempniak would have been a great addition the last 5 years on any team, for a good example.
It's delusional to think injuries are why this team sucks.

Yeah but this is the rhetoric for going on 20 years for both the Sabres and Bills.
Time for us to STFU about injuries.

We gave up nothing to get Kane and Bogo, players that Murray didn't want. not 1 player that was moved to the Jets has taken that team anyplace. |

Does Reinhart remind anyone else of Danny Briere the way his net-front presence is? |
