Just please stop. He didn't think Bogo was a superstar. And you don't trade a meh defenseman in Pysyk, and move up 5 spots in the draft for a "superstar" in Kulikov. Adam Larsson cost Taylor Hall and Larsson is nowhere near a superstar. I know you're incapable of being positive, but at least stay in the realm of possibility.

This is a team that has the players necessary to be a playoff team this year. They have not been embarrassing, they have been heartbreaking. This is another one goal game, again after the foot was taken off the gas. If they were permitted to play as they can, if they were allowed to play fast as they did in the first ...

But no, pull back, react instead of creating, suffer penalties when the reaction is a half step slow and give the game away.

I see maybe a few players on this team who are capable of creating instead of reacting. Who are able to maintain discipline instead of taking dumb penalties. And only a few who have that extra step and can take control of a game. Bylsma deserves a lot of the blame and should be fired. But the architect of this disaster should at the very least be on the hot seat.


Edit: They traded for a 4.33 million dollar d-man and less than half a season in hes a healthy scratch. Kind of sums it up no?

I got one for you... serious injuries in Buffalo this season, and virtually none for the Leafs.

So the 17 other NHL starting goalies are even worse than Lehner right? As of the other night he was 13th in SV%. Lehner is not the problem. They can't score goals, that's their problem, they're 5th in scoring chances for 5v5. They can't bury their chances. That's the problem. They're 12th in goals against, yep, awful defense.

People are quick to mention the " so called " bad deals that Murray has made however, the McNabb deal was bad. Big D man and that's what Murray was trying to make the team into and he trades him.
