I just finished the game. I had recorded it and had to wait till I got out of work at 10 to watch it. I have to admit I'm pretty (frank)ing livid right now...

I was incredibly impressed and amped up about our team what we did to get that two goal lead and then it was like a completely different team in the second half of the game.. No heart or compete, lazy give away's and penalties in our own zone. One timed shots that our only average goalie has a notorious history with not being able to save.


I feel as if in order to be a playoff contenter the following players need to off the team, in the press box or in Rochester. Or at least more than half of them -

Bogosian, Gorges, Franson, Girgensons.

I could do without Larsson, Gionta, Grant and Kulikov. They're not very good but I won't pretend they don't make the occasional nice play once in awhile and have some niche of a role on this team.

The other four players are not only useless on this team but they are hurting our chances of winning games. Incredibly stupid penalties by Franson and Gorges which were created by equally pathetic attempts by them or other linemates such as Deslauaries or Bogosian at clearing the puck led to these penalties but they were just lazy, "trying to save a goal" ones that a team can't have when they're trying to all ready deal with other deficiencies. Girgensons continues to get minutes in grade A opportunists and continues time and time again to fail. They put him out there with Reinhart and Okposo today and he still couldn't cash in on a couple of great feeds by Reinhart. I'm simply stunned that we have the number 3 goal scorer in the AHL and I believe another in the top 15? in scoring in Baptiste and Bailey sitting in the AHL while teams like the Maple Leafs are playing there young skilled guys and seeing success despite their poor defensive depth issues.

I read that sports illustrated article. It implies Brandon liked Ryan and wanted him to get the job, only a conspiracy addled mind would read more into it.
