It seems like everytime this dude opens his mouth to explain why the Sabres are awful its excuses...players don't do this...players don't do that....

When was the last time we had a breakaway or 2-1, 3-2, in a game? What style does Disco have us playing? It's boring AND we don't win. Horrible combination.

I somehow feel like this has to be Jr's fault.

I blame the line combos! There is no way to have continuity when they are constantly being shuffled. There is never a clear cut top line. The only consistent line in the past 2 seasons was broken up. Disco is a below average coach at best! I hate to say it but Babcock would have had this team in a playoff spot!

Remember when Lindy Ruff broke ribs and was out from behind the bench. Patrick filled in and it was one of the best games those Sabres played . It backed up our thoughts that Ruff needed to be replaced . Or am I thinking of something else.

That sounds about right to me.

I'm not typically "fire the coach" guy without a decent body of work, but I am officially done with Bylsma. He is holding the talent on this team back. The times we look like a competent team, sporadic as they may be, are when we are carrying the puck into the zone and creating. Eichel, Kane, ROR, etc. The problem is, they hardly EVER do it.

And someone mentioned breakaways/odd-man rushes. These never happen. We're never ready to transition. I'm no expert in hockey Xs and Os, but the eye test tells me we are better than this. Does Babcock have the Leafs sitting back on their hands, playing "responsible" defensive hockey?

I may be simplifying things, but I want a coach who wants to score goals. We have guys who can do it.
