Reading the comments here it appears as though many have come around to my way of thinking about the team. As bleak as things appear, the fix isn't that difficult.

1. Hire a credible director of hockey ops for GMTM to report to.

2. Fire Bylsma, hire Gerard Gallant

3. Firesale as many assets at the deadline as possible for picks/prospects

4. DO NOT commit to Lehner long term - we can, and must, do better at that position

Gentlemen, let me clarify a few things. First off,89 i do not have a problem with you. I like hearing from guys who know more info then the average fan. I know i have the info.(i am not patting myself,just to let everyone know what is really going on) wetbandits states pegula is and engineer and doesnt need brandon on decisions. For the last time,thank you terry, but he is a hillbilly. He has no idea how to run a sports team,just like daniel snyder. Engineers and most doctors make bad business people. The frustrating part is brandon does have control and is the number 1 confidant to brandon. He weasled his way in just like he did with wilson. TRUST ME. I am so frustrated because us fans deserve better. Do people know what the term managing partner is? Brandon is not in marketing. He manages all day to day operations with both teams. Broadcast showed Jack slamming his stick at end of game. You could also hear him during locker room interview with Foligino dropping F-bombs in back ground. This team has too much talent on roster to play like they are. I predict that by end of January that Murray moves Z and/or Samson or that Terry Murray is made head coach.

Both teams have talent the problem is, the talent is not being used the correct way. Bylsma has 300 wins, I would have 300 wins with a stacked Pens team every year.

Reinhart was exceptionally terrible last night. He made about 5 or 6 awful passes on the PP, then the giveaway.

The bills drafting has been pathetic. The bills,redskins,cowboys of 90s had one thing in common,dominant offensive lines the cowboys this year have rookies ,but a dominant offensive line.

Well, Carrier is a LW. Technically, both Baptiste and Bailey are both RW, however they've been working on getting Bailey comfortable on the left, because they know they have a need on that side. So that's probably why they recalled Bailey and not Baptiste.

And i'm not disagreeing with you, Whaley is completely lost and it's really sad when it's talked about everywhere but Buffalo. Murray will be fine

i agree 100% with this. i still like murray, he has a plan, he has tweaked it- clearly he has started to emphasize speed going forward. i feel like whaleys every move is to justify/secure his job, not to make the team better.

They have very similar numbers, Bailey has more overall points, but has also played more games there (probably because Baptiste was here longer). I think either of them were a decent choice. Both have speed. It'll be interesting to see how the lines shake out with Bailey in there. Would be nice to see him with Eichel for a bit. I'd like to see either him or Baptiste (even both, really) develop some chemistry with Eichel.

Respect your opinion. But the roster in place is not a last place roster many third and fourth line players. But we have blown so many leads its not funny. The inconsistencies are maddening. It blows my mind how players on this team disappear. Missed assignments, lack of intensity and lack of accountability are killing this team. We had expectations of contending for a playoff spot, not contending for a lottery pick. Maybe I personally had higher expectations which were unrealistic, but this roster is far from the one 3 or 4 years ago. Is Bylsma like Rex, installing systems that cannot succeed with the current roster? Or is it a roster filled with talent that has become too comfortable within its environment? Or has Bylsma lost the locker room? Not sure, but with the points we've let slip bye, we should not be a last place team. Something needs to be done to send a message that complacency has no place in this organization. Wether its moving players from the roster, calling up replacements from Rochester or firing the coach this team needs to get the message that their play is unacceptable.

Murray did this with a few players. If everyone rememberS,mcnabb finally was in the lineup. He had three good games and then traded him. Horrrrrible trade. I think Murray has a hard time moving away from players he doesn't like. The kulikov trade made no sense. Why take on a salary five times more, when pysyk is a puck controlling d man who doesn't make a lot of mistakes. He got rid of every young player except ristolainen. I understand you want your own identity and players,but don't do it out of spite
