It would make more sense to have someone who can enhance the game. Someone who actually has half an idea of what is actually going on on the ice. I doubt she knows anything about hockey other than it's played on ice with sticks and pucks.

Then again, i don't think she knows much about anything. She seems like one of those people that are just clueless about everything.

I mean, come on, she had to ask a kid what his Yoda costume looked like.

Nobody will admit it but we need it.

I believe I called for that before the season started and even asked others if they thought making the playoffs or another top 5 pick would be better for the team long term.

Also, people who criticize Bylsma for the constant line shifting seen to be forgetting Lindy Ruff in his hey day.

And Scotty Bowman and most coaches no longer coaching in the pre-1970's format.

In 1967, when Bowman began an NHL head-coaching career that would produce nine Stanley Cups, bench management was less complicated.

Teams could dress just 16 skaters (that increased to 17 in 1971 and 18 in 1982), so most teams rolled only three lines and two defensive pairings, with the extra players mainly used to fill in after penalty kills or power plays. The norm today is four lines and three defensive pairs.

Barring injuries, the three players on a line often used to stay together for an entire season. Now they can change shift to shift, with coaches such as Quenneville inclined to shake things up quickly to improve performance.
