I miss those teams
solid roster top to bottom
almost always had great effort - homiedclown
Every night was a 60 minute effort. With the early days of Punch's drafting and his timely trades, especially the time he fleeced Pitt by getting Robert for Eddie Shack, it was a formula for success. The other trade he did I think was Don Luce for Joe Daley. Pure genius. A formula for success.
If Murray could learn a little from what Punch did we will have a SC winner here. |

starting to think pegula is clueless on how to run things
we are at the point now in the rebuild, where at least rochester should be decent
let alone the sabres and bills - homiedclown
1. Fire Brandon
2. Find a hockey czar/President of Hockey Operations (hello Rick Dudley)
3. Get out of the way.
I don't care about the Bills, they're a gong show. |

Tyrod is quitting. Don't think he will sign the option even if we decide to keep him. I thought Pegula was gonna save buffalo sports, looks like Ralph all over again, but now with both teams. |

Well yes I did. You claimed you said something, when you hadn't, and I pointed it out.
I'm not trying to get in a pissing match, and mostly was doing it for comedy/wasting time at work.
But I would suggest you take whatever stance you want, just be ready to defend it, but also be open to other points of view as this is how you grow. - SDSabre

it's December...google 2014 redline report for access to a pdf with their final rankings...that seems to be your year...see how much of it you agree with - Michael Pachla
There are lots of risers in this draft could be good and bad
Good -could be a deeper draft
Bad - could be weaker

Don't want Tyrod and certainly not for 30 mil next year. If he didn't have his one great game last week fans wouldn't be forgetting about most of this year, lack of accuracy, and inability to throw over the middle. The Bills could only use the two sidelines in their game plans with him.If he came back they would just twist in the wind of mediocrity.
It's time to give up substantial assets to get a legit #1 sure fire QB or as close as you can come to evaluating one via the draft. This team has had one common denominator over the 17 years they have not made the playoffs and that is they have not had a legit #1 QB to build a team around. It's time. |

It's beyond time to get a legit QB for sure...but where/who?
Franchise QB's don't grow on trees and clubs who have one don't get rid of them...
So, other than drafting or trading for one who's health has question marks (ala Breese back then) it is difficult to get one. They will need to settle on "serviceable" for awhile.
Lastly, does anyone trust Whaley to identify a good QB...his track record doesn't lend confidence to it. |

How much glue do you sniff? Last I checked you're right and all of the good posters that come on here daily are wrong. You feed the daily gong show on this thread. You did the same sh!t on Eddy's site. Most are tired of you, check out of hotel mommy and daddy.
Good luck to you in life, you'll need it.

Offer picks and players to move up in the draft to obtain the stud QB the large amount of scouts Pegula is paying who recognize as the chosen one. |

His cap hit isn't the 28 mil so who cares what Pegula is paying him? but i agree i would rather have a pocket passer, the thing is our team (O-line) is not built for that. So we do not really have to many options. Like i said before i think i am done with them. The Bills are the laughing stock of the NFL from top to bottom. |

Bills issue
- more or less they are built to win now when considering the age of some key players ...O-line, RB, D-line ... but lack the necessary ingredient of a franchise QB, and still need additional help at WR, Safety, CB, LB positions.
I still think if they walk away from Tyron, and I would unless he renegotiates, they might be better off trading some of their aged vets who hold value and stock piling draft picks over next 2 - 3 years to rebuild on the fly.
If not, book another several years of being "in the hunt" and then out.
