Completely agree with everything you've said here. My comment was just more along the lines of referring to there being a few guys who come on to the board refuse to accept that what's in our system is anything less than pure gold. We have a 47 year team history of not producing very much, but maybe Murray's picks will be outstanding and everything will soon turn around and we'll have a farm that keeps feeding us studs. I have been here for 10 years and read the forum daily (sometimes 30 pages of backtracking). What l don't understand is why certain people come back here just to female dog and moan on a daily basis. Does it make you feel better to try to belittle other posters? You remind me of the guy who failed senior year and comes back to torment the underclassmen (yes I am thinking of O'Bannion).

I enjoy hearing the insights and the positives. We know who is not playing well. Every player on our team is an NHL caliber player whether you like to admit it or not (besides Grant maybe). We have the talent to bet a top 5 team in the conference.

Everyone loves to female dog about Murray, but what really has he done that has been horrible for the team's future? Traded a 1st for a goalie who has better numbers than Luongo right now? Or give 2 firsts for Anderson, who's numbers are not much better?

Trade Pysyk for a top 4 defenseman and move up to get the guy you want? Kulikov could be traded at the deadline and Pysyk could be lost at the expansion draft.

I know everyone here could do a better job as GM, but what we have now is better than what we have had in a long time. Darcy had how many years and everyone wants to fire TM after 3years?

I think my frustration comes from being in a loser culture all my life the only time we were ever good and special when I just got introduced to the Sabres and then just got ripped away

Everyone here got to witness the four Super Bowls etc the Sabres with dominik Hasek the Stanley Cup game etc I got none of that

Year after year it's the same stuff now ( the only team I have is the Miami Heat and their tire fire this year lol )

A lot of people here like Murray, and I'm one of them. But to take the standpoint that if you criticize Murray in anyway your just a hater and here to just female dog, that's B.S.

You want a few examples of how Murray screwed up?

Signing Moulson.

Trading McNabb an NHL ready defenseman who now is a top 4 on a much better, plus to second rounders for D-Lo a waiver wire caliber guy, and Fasching a 4th rounder who also has showed nothing so far two years after the trade.

Trading the equivalency of Myers for Bogogian.

Trading picks 21 & 26 in the 2016 draft (A very deep draft) for not much in return. Those picks could have really helped our system by now.

Yes, trading Pysyk for Kuli was a mistake, we'll get a second for Kuli at the deadline if we're lucky. And if Asplund was so important, than trading a 3rd to move up five spot would have gotten the job done, most likely.

Our top 6 still features the likes of Foligno and Moulson, and our second pair Bogosian. That kind of team generally finds itself in the bottom 5 of a conference, not top.

Bills and Sabres have been bad for an awfully long time. I can understand if someone started watching the Sabres in 07 or 08 they'd be getting sick of it by now. In all fairness the two years previous to this one tempted my loyalties and I've been watching the team since I was in diapers.
