That's the issue. Simmer is too valuable but other teams know he's not gonna take poop and will drop em. They want him off the ice so other teams goons will go after him to take him off the ice.

It's not out of position. Flyers play man to man in the D zone. Saw the same thing later in the period, when Provorov checked his man all the way up to the blueline.

Very true. One the best fighters I ever saw was Stan Jonathan and he was all of 5'8

he will be third in wins too. outside of Bernie and Hexy the most seasons for a Flyers goalie is 6 by quite a few players. Mason is in his 5th season. lot a lot of longevity
