They can keep Cardale, he's nothing but a 3rd string for the immediate future anyway. They should at least see what they have with him first. If EJ wants something around the minimum he's fine as a backup. I haven't got the slightest clue who they're going to bring in that will be better than Tyrod, but we'll see. And if someone says Mike Glennon I'm going to puke. Romo's not coming here either.

Its all on the coach.. they have looked good in about 2 games this year. Which means they're totally capable of scoring goals, but instead have to play his convoluted system that doesnt play to scorers strengths.

11 goals in 57 games for 7.5 m deserves some type of questioning.

I dont disagree, i just dont mind overpaying for that kind of player in his prime. Because even if he is overpaid hes still bringing good value on ice. There's 20 million tied up in players bringing negative value. Start there |

I didn't realize Jake Bean was a Hurricanes pick as well. I wonder if they'd be more likely to move Hanifin than Faulk considering he eats up more minutes and is on a pretty good cap hit long term.
