connor hurley having a decent year at notre dame. completely forgot about him. Definition of a project player - Sabresfan-365
He was such a dog sh!t last year I had really high hopes for him but I don't even think he's going to make the NHL maybe he'll break 20 points this year |

I was there. I've never seen a guy takes shots from a 30 degree angle before. Such a low success rate. So much booze on his shirt. - Buffalo--Sabres[/quot

You wouldn't think a player with such a long growth curve would have been selected where he was. But, hopefully he works out because out of him Karabacek and Cornel, we really need one to not bust out. |

Admittedly never seen him play, but he was ranked fairly high as well. Reminds me of jankowski with the flames, there must be something about him. |

He was picked by Darcy at a time when we were just starting the rebuild, we had a lot of picks coming and expect a lot more over the next few drafts. Darcy wanted guys who he knew would be going to college so he could have extended time with their rights instead of having to sign them in two years. |

We seriously could have iced an entire team with the amount of second round picks we held over the past five years. |

Tim Murray is how he can say that and how he will stick to his guns. The Bills are a cluster*ck and Whaley is the balless yes man Darcy was before he was whacked. - GilPerreault11
To be fair, we are currently in 28th place. The 3rd worst team in hockey. At what point is "sticking to his guns" changed to "He's right"? |

Really? Haven't seen his name appear in the box score recently. Looks like ND will be on NBCSN Friday and Saturday night. Looking forward to seeing Petersen more than the Sabres. |

Today at 2:00pm my worst fears were realized. The Whaley press conference confirmed that the Pegula's just may be the worst professional franchise owners in the country. Whaley, who is definitely over employed, was a man who was clearly lying to save the owners but it did not work. The Pegula's are apparently spineless cowards who will not face the public that supports their worthless efforts as owners. I kind of felt bad for Whaley... The buck stops with me... I am not privy to those decisions.... I only do what the boss tells me..... All the while Terry and Kim count the money and do nothing..... Yes they saved the Sabres and Bills but...... FROM WHAT? |

It was odd. But that's how management does it. You can't be negotiating for your own contract while you're negotiating a FA's. It's not like he counts against the cap or anything. Pegula's got enough money, he can afford to throw some more away. |
