The hit bothers me because only a game previous, one of our guys blindsided one of theirs. Forget that Bakes is one of the dirtiest players in the game today for a minute, and the hit was clean but bordering on dirty because it was blindsided.

The hit on Larsson was interference, plain and simple. The puck was in play, and the Boston player played the man and not the puck. That's interference, since the man he played was nowhere near having any kind of control of the puck. It was a vicious hit. Intent to injure? I can't say.

He chose to let up from the puck and instead of bracing for a hit, since he would have been in possession with a man in pursuit, he planted his feet, stopped short of the puck and caught the pursuing man completely off-guard coming in at full speed near the boards.

It's classic Boston/Philly type of play.
