If they decline the option on Taylor and he leaves then absolutely they are going full tank mode.
From what I have seen Lynn is their guy (a Whaley yes man) and they are looking at Gus Bradley as their DC. That should fix the D.
I still say stick with Taylor, there isn't anything better but absolutely draft a QB this year and next.
EJ is AWFUL - Stripes77
didn't I just read where taylor's looking at off-season groin surgery that may cost the bills $30m or something like that? |

Good to see the Bills do a nice and thorough search for a head coach, nothing but a mickey mouse organization this is. What a complete joke. |

Tyrod Taylor said he has "done enough to be the starter" for the Bills moving forward.
"That decision is on the Bills and we'll see what the future holds," Taylor added. Taylor was open with the media about his disappointment on Monday, repeatedly saying the starting job "was taken from" him. Taylor is right he has played well enough to remain the starter in Buffalo, but it does not look like that will happen. Taylor will almost certainly be traded or released this offseason. |

Those 3 make up their top pt guys . Bailey is 4th.
Roch and Tor are both sucking at 10th and 11th in the AHL standings 1 pt apart. - cabin
yeah, I know...that would absolutely kill the amerks...but at least grant can score in the ahl |

If he is injured then they have to pick up that option..
It's $30 million guaranteed over the next 2 seasons.
Again not $30 million a season. His cap hit would still be lower half in the league among starting QBs |

for a 37 yr. old third-line winger who's fifth on the team in scoring, I think he's doing fine...there are other fish to fry, imo - Michael Pachla
He's small and not at a place in his career to contribute the way he needs to IMO.
And 5th place in scoring ? On this team ? That's an accomplishment ?
You're better than that. |

Derrick Pouliot on the pens could be a decent pick up for not too much. I think he would be a pretty good fit on the Sabres. I would hate to see him go but it seems management has given up on him despite not playing too bad. - lemieux_66
What do you think the Pens would want for him versus what you would want for him if you were the Pens GM? |

The line of Foligno, Larsson, and Gionta has played well all season when together. They are the least of the concern. |

If you're blaming Brian Gionta for the reason this team is bad you aren't looking in the right places.

thx...I knew I read something like that...quite the conundrum...
if they had a vp of football ops with a clear vision of where they wanted to go, they'd either not be in this predicament, or would have plan b and/or c, d and e ready to go |

Here is what I don't understand at all.
Lynn all season has been a big supporter of Tyrod. Said he wished he had an offseason as the OC to work with him because there is a lot he really likes in his game.
If they promote Lynn wouldn't he want to keep the QB that got him that job?

Certainly not saying that.
Just saying he's one player, moving forward, that should maybe not be here. Certainly not with the 'C'. I'd just like better than Moulson, Gionta, Grant, DesLauriers, etc.
And then there's Bylsma. |
