Let Tyler go tank the season and get the quarterback next year and do it right
can someone explain to me what Tyrod did to deserve a contract? if we didn't have LeSean McCoy we could of been the worst offense in the league
Take away his 14TDS and his 1,567 total yards where would we be - GERBE!!!75PTS
Sooooooo Taylor had nothing to do with the running game's success and Bylsma, despite winning a Jack Adams the following year, had nothing to do with winning a cup because Pittsburgh was so stacked and any coach could've won with that group, well any coach except Michele Thierien. Ok.

Haha, spot on.
Nothing. And it was a panic move to sign him by good old Dougy Boy because he was afraid if Taylor had anothe r"Pro Bowl" season, he would walk. Haha, as if we or Tayler had that option.
Just straight retarded upper management. - BeadyEyedDouche
The more I look at the contract it seems very fair. He's not an upper half QB, neither is he paid like one. The dead money isn't horrible in a few years, and let's be honest, unless lightning strikes, it's going to be at least that long before one is developed.

Honest question. What is out there that is better for what we would pay Tyrod?

Nothing that can play now. A rookie drafted in the mid to late first round likely takes at least a year or two to come along. We could get lucky, but this is Buffalo, so we know that's not going to happen. In two words; we're stuck.

Murray was direct in calling the Sabres' last-place finish "unacceptable."
And he was blunt in laying the blame on everyone from management to the coaching staff and on down to his players.
"A lot of nights it was hard to watch," Murray said. "A lot of nights we competed hard and just didn't have enough talent to put us over the top. But other nights, it wasn't pretty."
-----
That's Murray a year before our 2015 season, calling it u unacceptable to be that bad. Yet, we all knew the next year we would be purposely bad.

First of all bylsma was just on a stacked team that took him places that is correct
Just like Lindy Ruff right?
LeSean McCoy was the whole team you could put a different quarterback and he would have the same success that's like telling me Elliot wouldn't have the same success if Dak Prescott wasn't there
Reinhart was excellent in the WJC's. He was named to the tourney all star team (top 5 players) and arguably was the best (they gave it to Domi). Reinhard outplayed McDavid in the tourney. Also, in the last minute of the game with Canada ahead by 1 goal - and numerous defensive zone face offs, the Cdn coach kept Reinhart out there to take all the draws and be the shutdown guy. - SabreWest
For a guy that STINKS, there is a good chance that Reinhart will get over 50 pts and might lead the team in scoring this year.....just saying.... - SabreWest

Why did Thierien get fired and why didn't he win the cup the year before?
Defenses didn't have to account for Tyrod in the run game/zone read? He or Mike Gillislee weren't useful in the running game?

Stop deleting your posts! No McCoy would not have had the same success without Tyrod, although I'm not really sure where you're going with this. - Wetbandit1
I deleted it because I didn't want to start a fight lol
I think you incorrect saying he wouldn't have the same success
