“The issue with the quarterback puzzles me,’’ Polian said. “I can understand Tyrod Taylor perhaps had some injury risk playing in that game, but why EJ Manuel? He proved once again that three staffs don’t think he can play; they yanked him from the game and it’s obvious the head coach wasn’t involved in that decision. Now that is troubling, because it’s not the owner making that decision, it’s the general manager and somebody else in the organization, I don’t know who, making that decision.’’
Hmm I wonder who that other person is making that decision? Sounds like Polian knows something, I think he is referring to Russ Brandon.

Criticize? I said he was good tonight. And he's been good lately outside of the first Boston game where he was a complete mess

Jesus christ.

You've been on here since the season started with your Reinhart rhetoric, so this isn't about tonight's game.

The team blows but he's been one of the few good things about this season. Has played every game, on pace to have twice as many assists, has been much better on faceoffs, isn't taking penalties, has as many powerplay points now as he did all of last year, and his shooting percentage has gone down from 13% to 9%, so there's your drop-off in goals. Prorate his seaosn and he literally improves in everything except goal scoring, and that can be changed with a couple of 2 goal games.

Literally everything you've said about Reinhart this season applies for Okposo. I forget he's even on the team half the time and since he's a veteran, I find it to be less excusable.

Reinhart is 21 on a team with very little actual 'talent'. We have skilled players like O'Reilly, Kane, Okposo but Eichel is our only truly 'talented' player on offense. And yes, the two are different.

My apartment complex closed the sidewalk "for the season"

And then when I bypassed such sign, some worker in the community center was banging on the window at me

I'm pretty sure I can handle walking on the sidewalk lol

Yeah, because that's what I'm on about, winning an argument on a message board with a guy who has a minion for an avatar.

Yeah man, glad you conceded because I really was on about winning and losing and right or wrong.

Don't post if you can't back your poop up. If you have no energy, don't get butt hurt when someone calls you out on talking non-sense.

But feel free to quote me and say jesus christ you dont gotta be so touchy i said he played good tonight jeez man i just like dont notice him most nights god u win

Yeah. This is just them trying to cover their asses after some old guy broke his leg on the ice. But I can't get over how absurd closing a sidewalk "for the season" is.

Am I supposed to walk through the mud and puddles instead? lol

I'm not mad. Far from it.

I don't feel like being baited into criticizing a player who I thought had a good game tonight.

P.S - The avatar is an inside joke

I never said you were mad, I said you were butt hurt, but it's all good. I'm not baiting you, because you regularly say how you feel about him this season and it's mostly negative. I just think you're completely wrong about him.

I also think I was one of the few people who expected 20g20a from him last season. He is necessary on the team moving forward and the only reason I would trade him would be for someone like OEL and we all know that's not going to happen, so I am happy with him on this team and think he's one of the most defensively responsible players we have on the team, including our defensemen.

My expectations of a guy who was the first forward taken in his class are just different than yours.

He's a solid player. I'm not disputing that. If he keeps this pace and scores 55 points, Ill feel differently than when he was on pace for 38 after the first 16 games

Exactly, like Larkin or Fabbri.

What he's doing now is what should be expected.

He's not 18. He's 21 and 3 years removed from his draft class

It was about the hit on Jimmy "I burned Buffalo" Vesey.

But he's beyond horrible.
