Eichel and Kane shouldn't be on a line together. It just doesn't work. They've tried forcing that round peg into a small hole for a year and a half now.

Kane's production picked up when he was put on a different line. Let's leave it that way.

Look at Columbus. There 4th line is loaded. Deslauries should be in Rochester. COR I don't have an issue with him or Schneider on the 4th line. But there should be a requirement. You don't score 1 goal by mid season you're off the team. See ya Grant.

those guys are thriving in a role made perfect for them

you don't put a bailey carrier or a baptistie on the 4th line as their entire career, skill set is for a top 9 role

Actually their 4th line seems to mix a combination of

Sedlak, Calvert, Karlsson, Hartnell, Gagner and Anderson.

Most of those guys would be on our 2nd and 3rd line here. All are producing. There is no perfect role for Deslauries or Grant except one that puts them in cities like Rochester Syracuse and Hartford
