I think gus is still in the dog house...not sure what he did to Bylsma, but the coach has really made life tough on him

I read all this stuff on pysyk the last few days


A. Murray didn't like Pysyk
B. the panthers had no intention of playing pysyk, or kulikov in their top 4
C. We got Asplund in that trade as well

you can say what you want, about Murray not knowing who he was going to pick at #33, but he did know there was only 2 picks before him and I am sure he had 3 guys in mind when he made that trade


we all get attached to certain players
we all read prospect reports that make them sound great and watch youtube highlights and think it will translate to the pros
bottom line, if pysyk was anything other than a bottom 3 d man, he would have still been here

after a few years, you are who you are


with mccabe, guhle and risto there is a core with upside an it's up to murray to get that 4th d man, stock the prospect pool with d men and turn this f@cking corner next year

"Only" 7 points back? Michael, you dont seem to realize exactly how tough 7 points is to gain in this league to be in the Atlantic division playoff picture. This team is the least in the East on paper and on the ice and its reflective in tne standings. I cant see this team not finishing bottom 5 in the league. Their not better than any of the teams currently ahead of them.

3-1/2 wins over 40 games is doable . Just like losing streaks. Team is closer to putting some wins together. Just need the coach to have a different vision.

im not saying its impossible...but the Sabres havent exactly shown they are capable of that sort of run. Not this year at least.

I like Murray when it comes to drafting, but I don't like Murray being in charge of our assets. He's like a drunk with a pocket full of cash at a flea market. Someone else is about to have a good day and we're coming home with a pile of chit. After we sell our UFAs, we'll have enough picks to really restock the system, I hope he doesn't sell those picks for Chris Pronger.

Its doable, but not easy as it sounds. Having to keep pace ( plus 4 more wins) with the leader is tough as it is, but there are also other teams involved. Can Buffalo catch and pass toronto and boston? Perhaps. Can tney do it faster than Florida and Tampa Bay, who are also trying to do the same and are already have a 5 point lead? I wouldnt bet on it.

The Flyers arent great, but theyre pretty good. Really, they just needed some defence to develop last few years. Their pretty well balanced and talented up front.

Bylsma opens it up a bit today. 4 - 2 Sabres. Jack with a deuce, Kane and Bailey with his second.
