I think a young cost controlled forward who can really skate, dish and really shoot the puck is more valuable to this team than an overrated 2nd pairing guy who is due for a massive raise he doesnt deserve next year.

Its all good. Obviously I want my team to eventually be tops in the league but that doesnt mean I want the Sabres to fail either. I would love for my Oilers to beat the Sabres in a game 7 in the SCF.

Im sure some of you have alayzed the OIlers rebuild and said " I hope we dont do that" a time or too. Comparring the Sabres/Leafs with Edmonton is fun because were not that far apart, and the process is still very fresh.

And btw, the Oilers rebuild is not complete, they still have plenty of work to do.
