Murray had interest in him when he first got here before and after the Miller deal, don't know if he is still serious about him. Guy Boucher for some reason doesn't seem to be a fan of his. I've always thought Ryan has very good potential he just seems lazy at times. Once again, his contract isn't very friendly unless you can off load a contract for him. - SABRES 89
Ryan for Moulson, Bogosian and a 2nd. Done!

They can not afford Ryan at 7.5 for five more years with O'Reilly at the same number.

Yes they can, if they are able to move out a contract or 2 they can. IMO, i'm not worried about any other big name forward until Eichel and Reinhart are paid. |

grant over schaller is one...
what are the others? - Michael Pachla
Moving out the whole blue line outside of 29/55.
Using Darcy's prospects in trades, with the exception of Lemiuex
Choosing Casey Nelson over resigning Ruhwedel.
Not resigning any of the goalies who played well. Bringing in his guys |

How would you have him move on? Snap his fingers? If you believe Kane was a miss there were rumours that he shopped him. I know you think Bogo and Gorges are laughable, how does he trade such clowns?
He put together the team he wanted for this year. (I don't think he got the LHD he wanted, and settled for Kuli.). I also believe he's taking notes as the year reveals its strengths and weaknesses, and will start retooling where he doesn't like the results.
I think we'll learn in the next month whether it's a TDL retool or work for the offseason. - Der Kaiser
I'll agree with you that Gorges and Bogo are untradable. No one will take those two players at their current deals. Maybe Vegas if we're lucky... Kulikov is essentially a Incomplete. I'm not sticking up for the guy at all but I believe he's never been close to 100% the while here because of that stupid (frank)ing door. I agree with Kulikov being his number 2 or maybe even 3 on the wish list. He clearly wanted Fowler bad maybe even Barrie but realized the price way too high and settled on what he deemed a decent deal for Kulikov. I guess worst comes to worse if Kulikov never regains health this year and leaves after the season as long as Asplund works out the deal is still a success and we still need a LHD |

Gorges and Bogo are not untradable. Nathan Horton and others with bad contracts were moved so anything is possible. Kulikov will almost certainly get interest and wouldn't shock me if Gorges and Bogo do also. Anything can happen in the right deal. |

Giving Carrier an extended shot in Buffalo and giving Bailey and Baptiste limited time. Until injuries made it necessary |

I was told today, if there was 5 more minutes left in that game yesterday that Lehner would have taken on all comers. |

Bogosian is untradable. Gorges isn't I guess... But until the off season I don't see any tackers lining up for a full year and a half of Josh Gorges. Kulikov might get interest but I have a feeling he gets shut down for the year if he can't get it going soon. Might need major back surgery |

carrier also spent an extra year in junior and two years in the minors before getting the call and was having a strong season in rochester...
on the other hand, keeping on the top line for as long as Bylsma did certainly was a head-scratcher |

Okay.. His no movement clause and three and a half years at 5.14 cap hit a year sounds pretty tough to me... |

I don't get why Deslauries is still getting minuites. That's a guy Murray traded for and aside from a minor burst when he first got here hasn't done anything. Guys like Baptiste, Rodriguez or even Schneider deserve a shot over him |
