yup.. hopefully this doesn't effect Laine's career, he is going to be very good player if he isn't in that category already

I wrote a post after the game two blogs back (sounds like a terrible cover band name)

The hit seemed to wake the Sabres up and it got the Jets off of their game but truth be told McCabe was brutal that game up until that hit...

He needs to be smarter, one terrible pinch that lead to a 2 on 1 (Risto didn't help the play much either) and on the Stafford goal short handed or not you don't let a guy walk in from the corner and get 3 shots on goal before you move.

McCabe is still young so I have faith he will keep learning but he needs to be better if he wants to be Risto's running mate for the next 7 years...

They didn't show the replay in the arena. Also, later in the period when they did the vote for the Carubba Collision of the game, it wasn't even one of the two choices.

Think we had that after the 2nd game in this season.
