So Garf's blog has Jack as the 15th best player in Sabres history for Points in players' initial 100 games.

My initial reaction was it was very disappointing to see him rated so low given predictions of him as a generational talent. I would have expected much, much higher ...say top 5, even in view of lower scoring league wide now versus the 70's / 80's.

When Ennis comes back, do you have them as follows until/if Ennis is performing at a quality level?

48 90 21. 82 15 12. 9 23 56. 63 28 26.

And if he does begin to play very well, do you change them to the following?

63 90 21. 82 15 12. 9 23 56. 48 28 26.

I know it's not ideal but I really like the idea of being four centers deep like this lineup as it allows the minutes to be spread around more evenly.

So you don't think that without Kane and ROR over 100 combined points last year we aren't way worse off in the standings?

I'd say it's a guarantee we are one of the worst two teams in the NHL.

If you were paying as close attention to that finish as we all were you would absolutely know that there was never a "Guarantee" that we would finish last, and as you know, we would have missed Jack & Conner , we would be on here whining about STROME!

I sure as hell hope not. Eichel deserves to be with some skill and scoring ability not a 37 year old 3rd liner. If Ennis comes back healthy and plays well enough the lines should be..
