Even Big John Scott usually got 1 goal a year, and he at least hit people in the face and was fun to watch.

Honestly, I don't even need all of the players to be scoring goals. I can see see a guy who's like Mark Belanger used to be with the Orioles - so good at other stuff that you can look past the offensive shortcomings.

But I don't see where Grant is that guy.

This is the one place where I might say the GMTM-critics have a point. If its his decision to keep him here, its hard to understand, and if it's Bylsma decision to keep him here, I cant understand why he won't just take Grant away from Bylsma.

I am all for being as good as you can be this year.

The next 2-3 games will be a good gauge to see what this team should do at the deadline.

Philly is beatable, Tampa is struggling and Carolina is a boring team the Sabres should be beating but seem to not be able to.

If they win 2 out of 3 that's 9 out of 12 possible points in their last 6 games.

I would prefer them to go on a streak and win the next 3 but its Buffalo...
