i don't quite get it on NSH side.. Now they have to gaurentee him an NHL roster spot. If they want to add at the deadline they are limiting themselves one roster spot by doing this

Im afraid hes gonna get a lot of the credit for a possible turnaround, when I think the players have forced him into changing how he coaches. While I like the fact that we are playing better /differently, it concerns me that he could'nt stick to his guns and work with the players. As some have said on here I think hes lost the room and hats not going to sit well with the players if Dan stays.

Yes but if not claimed they are only allowed to have 50 contracts, with Grant they have 45, so it really should not be a huge concern getting Grant (and having to waive him if they need to)

Such a tough call. Not only do they have value to other teams, but they're giving your team value. I'm really liking Kane right now after almost a year and a half of bashing him. I just don't see them bringing in anything that will improve them more than Kane is able to do right now. Flyers' fan on their blog was saying they would think that Kane's price tag would be higher than Ryan's right now. That was good to read. Other team's fans' perception and perception is reality.
