I need Ristolainen and O'Reilly to have big nights for my fantasy hockey! Ristolainen has been money for me all year.

I don't want the sabres near the table for trying to acquire those two. O'Reilly and Duchene didn't get along, no need to revisit that. I love landeskog, one of my favorite players in the NHL, but the price tag is too high for my liking.

I'm not as optimistic about tonight. It has Lightning surge written all over it. Bishop has never lost against us and the rusty talk I think is moot on a goalie of his caliber. Plus people are now making a big deal about their four games lost in a row because its the longest streak in the NHL and they know we can pass them with a win so I have a bad feeling they come out flying knowing they need a win.
We need to try and match that intensity from the start and play smart in the middle of the ice. Not let them enter our zone so easily with quick passes.

You can bet Tampa is looking at the Sabres as just what the doctor ordered and will come out fast and strong tonight. We just need to weather the storm. If it's indeed Buffalo that dictates the pace from the outset ............... then we are playing with confidence and the next few weeks look promising.

And they definitely shouldn't at this point. The forward group is a lot more solid than the D group is. Why remove one of your top 2 players at one position to fill a position elsewhere on the roster that doesn't really need to be changed anywhere near as much?

I forgot we scored six both of those games. We haven't scored 6 against an eastern conference opponent though. Especially one we haven't had a lot of success over recently and one where the goalie's career he's never lost to us in regulation. But you know... Those are just facts...
