Jack for one. Either he's going to be lost as in not care/listen to a coach, or lost as in refuses to sign his next contract. If he's this pissed off now and we tank that's all she wrote. Remember how pissed off Neuvirth was? Who gives a poop about a backup goalie, but your franchise cornerstone is a different story. It's fine to tank to get the guys, but once you have them you have to do everything you can to win, even if you don't. - Wetbandit1
I think Jack is smart enough to determine on his own THIS team is not complete yet and is a year or two away from being the team he can thrive on. |

Maybe if his contract was up this year, but it's not. I don't see him throwing a tantrum for the next 18 months. |

Maybe, but as we're seeing you don't just flip a switch and start to win, just because you want to. It's a lot harder than that, so the longer you delay that the harder it is to actually start to win. Ask the Buffalo Bills. Or a team that actually is pretty decent after 15 years of sucking, the Bengals. How many seasons did it take Marvin Lewis to turn that team around? |

Or ........ once you get close how fleeting it can be. Just ask Nashville and Dallas.
I get it .............. but we are nowhere near roster wise where we need to be. |

2018 is suppose to be like 2016? Interesting.. 2016 wasn't as good as 15 but the way I look at it the roster I build should get us to the playoffs dependent on goal tending and coaching |

As GM of the Sabres we felt it was in our best interest to role with a defenceman who could step in right away and help our top four. Plus we trust Reinhart to progress his game more and if not he can be moved down to the 3rd line center position should our brightest forward prospect not named Nylander - Cliff Pu start to tear it up. |

You gotVeleno ( number 1 I think )Dahlin ( for number 1 also ) Whalstrom, Groulx, Wise, Svechnikov, Wernblom, Levin, like McIsaac, Dahlin, Smith, Merkley, Woo, Addison
It's a really deep draft
If you watch the world juniors I'm sure you saw Dahlin 16 year old that was so calm and composed
We always suck on the wrong year lol |

I for one am quite sure no one on this board is privey to what Bylsma's actual message and mandate to his players is. That goes for "losing" the room as well. I'm not buying it.
I'm not a fan of Paul Hamilton in the least but every now and then he can produce something insightful. The other day he was expounding that the team was simply NOT doing what they are being coached to do. Some would say it's because they've tuned him out .......... someone else might say we've simply got the wrong players. |

But sir if you look at the top defenseman they are taken in the (late round first) or second
But the top wings are in the first
And if you look at the forwards taken in the previous drafts they make an impact on your roster that year |
