didn't read it yet. Granlund, Baer, Tree etc. Good signs. Looks like an extra 2nd coming our way this year. More picks than usual perhaps.

We just need a Franchise player to hang our hat on. Im a draftist, but I don't sit and cheer for them to lose when i'm watching. if that makes any sense.

Hank as a C can still produce as a playmaker with the right wingers.
Daniel is fine at playmaking as well & I wonder if his goal scoring has dimished to the point where he should be a set up man as well. He can still chip in with the odd goal but i prefer him on another line to complement scorers. Sutter comes to mind & it would help our scoring balance out. The way our wingers r trending it seems logical to me. When Hansen returns that could revert back.

The above gives WD 3 scoring type lines to roll out with his penchant for liking to roll out 4 lines its a good start IMO

I used to believe this, but Bo has shown he has what it takes to replace Henrik. A 2C can be drafted in any position really. The focus I think for the 1st will be a good play making LW with 1st line potential to play with Bo and (hopefully) Boeser.

More defense

Lets face it, a top 4 defenseman can get you a top 3 forward or a top 6 forward + a pick in todays NHL.

After all that I think looking for potential upgrades on current players takes effect. Naturally if we can find a 1C and make Bo our 2c that would be awesome as Bo will be a good 1C but could be amongst the best 2c in the league.

I had a talk with someone who watched JV when he was a Hitman a lot. He mentioned that JV always looked comfortable as a LW more than he did as a RW. Could be something there.
