Competing is everything.
What fans wish is counter intuitive to what pro athletes do.
They didn't make it to the NHL by giving up.
The play of BO Granlund Sven Stecher etc is a good sign & we can hardly have our cake & eat it too. Progress & fallng down for a higher pick is contradictory to the say the least. Anyone thinking thats realistic let alone going to happen is not really looking at the big picture. JB always said the PO's r the goal & building a winning environment throughout the system is important.

That makes it slightly more interesting.

nfl sucks, overhyped, commercials every 5 minutes, cfl game is way better and its been around longer than any pro sport. Us Canadians don't like it because its our own game they would much rather watch that poop down south. personaly it bores me to death.

The so-called confusion some fans claim is in their heads.
What they hear & what they want is their own conflict.
I see JB doing just what he said was needed & has continued to do.
What has actually happened is our fanbase is not used to management being so candid & doing as stated. The result is new on us & we r coming around. Prospects r finally in the system & we find ways to compete & make a PO push. Its not our problem other teams in our conference r slipping. The opportunity has fallen in our lap & why not go for it. The kids r doing fine & starting to take over & is that not what we all wanted to happen in the 1st place?

didn't read it yet. Granlund, Baer, Tree etc. Good signs. Looks like an extra 2nd coming our way this year. More picks than usual perhaps.

We just need a Franchise player to hang our hat on. Im a draftist, but I don't sit and cheer for them to lose when i'm watching. if that makes any sense.

The camera angles & big field r not exactly sexy but the NFL hype comes up short too often. Its a made in America tradition throughout their sports. Its all about Friday is high school football.
Saturday is NCAA.
Sunday the NFL.
Add to that they have 10x the population getting hyped over is what has produced what we now see. Money & over satuation.

Money drives things. It's the same in Canada. The beautiful game is doing less in Canada then the States. Hockey is Better then the other US sports leaders but business has vested elsewhere.

Why not adopt some of the CFL rules....
24 second play clock & not drag out OMAHA for 40 seconds?
Clock starts when the football is placed?
Abolish the dumb ass dead ball play of the fair catch?

I hear you. I'll go with quality draft picks and winning system that takes advantage of trades and free agent finds. The tear down to draft at the top for Years only works if you win the lotto and there is a superstar savior. That's not a plan but a recipe for futility.

The reason why the NFL will not adopt those rule changes cuz its not made in America. Eg the phillips screw vs the robertson screw.
