Maybe they wanted to see what they had in Nilsson when pressed into action. The results weren't great, but I believe that's why they didn't start Ullmark. In case Lehner goes down again they want to see in Nilsson can handle the workload. Unfortunately you have to lose a game to experiment. But that's the only time you can experiment when you can get usable results.
