I keep hearing the complaint that we are crippled by being so close to the cap with all our bad value contracts.

Tell me why that has harmed us. What move have we been prevented from making by lack of cap space? With all the cap hit coming off this year, who will we not be able to get.

We're fine with the cap, it's how Murray is going to spend the money that's coming off the books that worries me. He lets his man-crushes dictate his decisions too much. He's not doing what's best for the team long term, but overpaying for guys he remembers being good 3-4 years ago. I'd be worried about his next round of contracts for UFAs, it could really screw this team for years to come.
