I call it how I see it. I'm sick and tired of rooting for two loser sports teams who continue to pile on false hope year after year.

I waited eagerly and patiently for two years for us to tank and we got (frank)ed both times with that stupid (frank)ing lottery. Rewarding teams like the worst NHL fanbase in the world in Florida and the horseshoe up there ass Edmonton. Then those loud mouthed losers up North do it for one year and get the next great superstar to go with there quiet rebuild of young fast and skill players. They miraculously ditched dead weight and contracts and despite not being able to land any big time FA's still snagged a great head coach. An A -hole despicable scumbag of a person but a great coach.
Still Eichel and Reinhart and O'Rilley and Kane and lets throw in Lehner and Bogosian too. All should be better then they are playing. Eichel isn't the problem. I'm not saying that but I expected better out of this team. Maybe it's the overall talent level, maybe its the horrible micro managing coaching or maybe it's just the fact that our players styles don't mesh well together but either way it's just not working and it needs to change.

Toronto fans are A holes as are Phili and Boston fans for the most part. Rangers fans are just cocky but really know nothing about hockey so I don't even consider them to be worthy of anger.

This is definitely a big part of the problem. I don't think he is either. Our defensive lineup is in rough shape this year. We need some significant upgrades to our D core. Even when Kulikov comes back, it's just not nearly good enough. Murray has work to do, especially when, in all likelihood, they will lose two starting D (Franson, Kulikov) during the offseason/trade deadline. Are Falk and Fedun the answers? Probably not. Who knows.

I was pretty mad too. The Leafs rank number 1 on the list of teams I never want to lose to. Ever. But then I remember that we played last night, and Toronto didn't. It's not a valid excuse for the garbage show that happened in the 2nd period, but it made me less angry about the loss for some reason.

P.S. Does anyone know why Bylsma likes to play the same goalie in back-to-back games? Second time (I think, maybe more) I've seen him do it this season, and I just don't get it. I don't think that's a very common practice in the NHL, is it? I'm not a Lehner hater, but that 2nd goal against was crushing.

The camera thing is completely overblown. There was a woman sitting next to the Sabres bench who had her sick son on Skype/facetime. During a TV timeout, Lehner skated over and waved to her sick son on the phone. That was pretty much it.

I was at the Sabres/Leafs game last night. Here are my observations from 12 rows up.

The Sabres played a great 1st period, after that nothing much happened. Probably need to blame the coach for that. The goalies let in 2 goals that they shouldn't have. Nobody on the Sabres stood out for being particularly good but the same could be said of the Leafs - no one stood out for being good. Bogo stood out for being bad particularly on that penalty in the 3rd. As soon as he took it, i told my buddy "that's the game" and then the Leafs scored on the power play. Overall, an uninspiring game from both sides.

Lastly, I drank too much and I am a bit hungover. Not a good thing considering I am at the airport and have to fly back home. Also, i am in the "fire Disco" camp now.
