Well in order to get a top 4 D man we need to give up a top 6 forward that you said we need. Shed bad contracts and money, yep but that's easier said then done. Fire Bylsma, not yet. So we need a goalie and a D man but a D man will be hard to get, a goalie may be not as much. Lehner is just not the answer, i've tried to stand behind him but it just doesn't work. Murray is just to head over heels for him.

See nick delauier on the top line tells me that coaching is a large issue, not the only one but a big one. If im GMTM I fire dan today and bring in a offence minded coach and try and pump up the value of as many players on the move as possible, bring up bailey and baptiste, I firmly believe we are a better team then how we are playing. Im not saying playoffs good but the team I think is better than this and has quit on the coach and its showing big time.
If bylsma was coaching the leafs and babcock the Sabres I truly believe the leafs are not anywhere close to what they are this season, and Buffalo is probably sitting in the playoffs, but we got bylsma instead running our young kids into the ground. Does Jack resign if dan is still the coach next year?

I laughed when I heard Trump was going to take the weekend off and start monday

So we're getting Duchene, Barrie and a goalie from the Av's. That's quite a haul. We would have to give up a lot for that. Don't see it.

Ennis - 2nd? Could be only a3rd due to last 2 years.
Foligno - 2nd? (Probably not trading, serviceable 3/4 RW)
Gus - 3rd?
Gionta - 3rd?
Carrier - 3/4th?
Dlo - 7th?
Bogo - not tradeable at TDL
Kuli - 2/3rd?
Franson -3rd
Gorges - 3rd

Not that I expect all to go, but those are the assets as I see them potentially being moved.
I guess the take-away is the true value is getting rid of contracts, not so much the return.
