Yep.
I guess it goes to show the present lack of depth in our forward group and with recent injuries on defense, we don't have much there either.
It is a transition year,(s) patience is needed, ho hum. I still like watching games and want to see them win, but still want to ffwd through this rough patch and see some of these recent picks join the Comets and have more options. - hillbillydeluxe
Dont make a difference to me. Im convinced I'll die without ever seeing a SC I Vancouver.
Its kinda nice when you can just let go

Be super easy for JB to monitor players.
Thats one thing I really like about JB is how hard he works. Watching players for draft and farm regularly. He does his homework - SMBDragon
I'd like to see more players called up for a short stint, get everyone a taste and brief auditions.
I'd like to see Pedan and Subban get a couple games each.

Maybe happens later in the season not in the middle of it.
Much depends on where we stand.
There isn't much in Utica to call up tbh |

Pedans physicality is a plus on the back end. Other than that, I really dont think theirs anything thing else worthy of watching. He is what he is.
A 7th defeneman/ AHL lifer. |

I'd be ok with sitting stretch for a couple games and calling up subban. |

Most likely. I can't recall, but I feel like he didn't get a lot of action in previous call ups (playing forward or being scratched) |

I may be a lone voice on this one, but I kind of hope we keep our farm team in Utica. It has been a great environment for them, they have a rabid fan base, there is a great management team out there. If we move the team here, you have the benefit of quicker call-ups but you end up spending a ton on money on travel, I believe Abbotsford had to pay the travel costs for all visiting AHL teams.
Question – would Vancouver actually be able to support an AHL team? Or do you look at Surrey or Abbotsford?

I'd also like to see Subban in a game, bothers me that he didnt even get a preseason game in september... Though I have no idea if he's even doing well in Utica, anyone know? |

yes, but abby would be better. They've already had an AHL team (calgarys farm) so the base is there and a decent arena Ive heard |

Good read Carol.
Long overdue news about the possibility of the farm team moving to the lower mainland. - dbot
I'd like to see the farm team in Washington or Oregon. |

at the same time, he's not wrong...
Look at his roster. He has nothing to work with. He can pump up his average team up to the media all he wants, its just lipstick on a pig at this point. |

This. Over coaching at its finest. Very easy solution to score more goals: shoot the puck more. doesnt take a ton of skill |

Nope, I'm with you on it. Short bus rides, fans who sell out the building, an overall good environment. If they could find a similar situation in the central timezone (or California), closer to a major airport, I would be in favour of relocating. I dont think the farm team will receive better than average turnout/support regardless of the local city |

That's where JV has to start making a difference... be the scorer we all hope he can be... open up ice as a power forward for other guys. |

That quote's from Travis Green, coach of Utica.
I think he's preparing himself to take over the big club. |

Cant blame him, his AHL stars from the start of the season Megna, Chaput and Stecher have been called up. A few days ago Chaput was 5th in team scoring, despite only playing 10 games |
