Why isn't Megna playing in the All-Star game? - Marwood
Because they asked Jim who should go not Willie |

Grenier is absolutely brutal. Pretend he isn't 6'5 and alll appeal is gone. Biega could smash the guy
Edit. He is big but also incredibly soft. He has good hands but lacks the skill and determination to translate his game to the NHL - CanuckDon
And Gaunce and Chaput are any better? They've played 150 games between them with a whopping 4 goals to show!!!
So the 6 games Grenier has had isn't really fair to make that kinda assessment, if anything give him a chance and see if he can make adjustments to the NHL game. |

I may be a lone voice on this one, but I kind of hope we keep our farm team in Utica. It has been a great environment for them, they have a rabid fan base, there is a great management team out there. If we move the team here, you have the benefit of quicker call-ups but you end up spending a ton on money on travel, I believe Abbotsford had to pay the travel costs for all visiting AHL teams.
Question – would Vancouver actually be able to support an AHL team? Or do you look at Surrey or Abbotsford? - Healthy-Scratch
Some good points made here.
With a drawing radius of over 2.4 million in the GVA the Nucks can't even fill Rogers Centre. They had to move the Giants to Langley which is barely 5000 seats...there is no way an AHL team would get proper support in the city of Van.
You 'might' be able to make it work in Abbotsford but Surrey?
Tough one there.

Funny I read it as Grenier (as thats who we were talking about)....my mistake |

That's where JV has to start making a difference... be the scorer we all hope he can be... open up ice as a power forward for other guys. - kaptaan
We keep hearing Virtanen is progressing, but it certainly isn't on the score sheet. |

I mailed you an autographed Megna jersey to hang on your wall of heros. Preferring players with offensive pedigree to add to a team that lacks scoring at all levels is asinine. Carry on. Nothing to see here. - Nuck4U
You spent money on a Megna jersey? I guess you soured on him when WD was unfair towards Rodin...

europe bound, unless he doubles his compete level..... absolutely no fire in Gaunce switches positions every single season, and is worse off every time. Im surprised they've given him such a long leash considering he's a Mike gillis pick |

Toronto supports two AHL teams , The Leafs and the Marlies , I am sure Vancouver could support one. |

I wish they would play with 5 D instead of using Biega - WhiteLie
After he gets his games for Vegas he'll be shelved. Then PL will be cleared to play and back in. How do you like them apples |

Its mind blowing man, I know there are not many other choices, but really how could it be any worse? I'd consider giving Archibald or Valk a fu&*ing try at this point, even Labate!!! Zalewski is having a brutal year, don't know whats going on there. |

Oh, well im thinking because JB wouldnt owe them any sort of loyalty (look at Jensen/Shinkaruk) one could argue Gaunce is very similar to those 2 (overrated in junior, went up in the draft and can barely make the league now). Just seems odd that Gaunce has been in the line up all year, considering he only plays 4th line |

I get the illusion that Rodin and Boucher are offensively talented, but lots of guys dont translate OHL or Swedish success to NHL.
See Dane Fox, Curtis Valk, Stefan Legein, or for a fun flashback Angelo Esposito |

With Labate/ rendullic having solid training camps, i dont know why they didnt just throw Gaunce to waivers at the beginning of the season like Etem. Most AHLers would have way more fire/motiviation that Gaunce rn |

They gave it to me in lost and found cause it had your name stitched on the label. Just doing a solid as I was returning Steaming's autographed Chaput program. It's never about one player. Just the pattern of preferences. |
