What's up with not giving Cole Schneider a shot? 37 points in 34 games, plus past scoring history at the AHL level. Seen him play, he is a snipper, at least 3rd line good. Not the most physical i would be the first to say that. The puck just gets to where he is. - blkhwkfn
He's just Derek Grant all over again. Good in the AHL, but can't cut it in the big league. He had at least 4 years of training camps with the Sens, and they didn't see fit to play him in a single game. I think that speaks volumes about what kind of player he is. And when the trade was made last year it was an "AHL trade". That's how it was phrased. It was just to try and bring some guys into Rochester so they could get better.

Yeah . That's why I said he might get another chance if injuries get out of control again . Being with the Amerks might have get him some scoring touch for the NHL.

Good call, I just noticed how well he is doing in the AHL the other day. He had a cup of coffee with the Sabres early in the season. Had a nice helper off a face off for what I believe was Baptiste's 1st NHL goal.

That's when he was 18.
Last year he went on a tear when McDavid was hurt, and started this year on a different line.
