I have seen people bash the idea of any team trading for Gionta for a playoff run, but I could see the Hab's offering a 2nd or 3rd for him. I could see him willing to go there too for a chance to make a run for the Cup with his former team. He has pretty good stats in the playoffs with them and is familiar with the organization. Could see him going there and signing a one year deal here next year. This would also not make anyone look bad for taking the C from him and giving it to ROR or Jack.
