It's not like the franchise hasn't had its opportunities, if they could draft, they'd have won a Cup by now. The single greatest downfall of the organization, bar none! |

I don't care what anyone says, picking in the, or near the, top, helps. But just drafting well as a whole is a huge difference maker. |

Draft is a lot of luck too ...if Mathews was a couple days older he would have been in the previous years draft ...and most likely went to Phoenix at 3 and then the leafs take strome at 4
But instead the leafs got marner and Mathews
Very lucky |

That Crosby draft was a true lottery. Canucks only had 1 ball, still picked 10th. |

The one and I think only time they draft and properly develop a goaltender, they trade him away, lol, (frank)in dysfunctional (frank) show....but they lucked out with Horvat. Thankfully!! |

Would you trade Horvat for Schneider? - golfingsince
Now....no, Schneider is 30 years old. It's gonna be five years before the Canucks are any good. Horvat will be in his prime, Schneider will be almost done. |

It just kind of shows you what you're dealing with. It's difficult to have reasonable discussions when people are so blind to the value or worth of pieces on their team. - golfingsince
