I know it's the KHL and he's the same age as the dinosaur Gionta but Max's numbers are really impressive this year

So i think that it is 10 games max for an emergency recall....Guhle has played 3 so far...gives us 7 games to get McCabe back if he ends up with a non-playable injury

Pretty sure there is no game cap if it is a qualified emergency recall. I looked for the NHL/CHL transfer agreement but couldn't find the full text anywhere.



That was posted before for Guhle, but number 2 place no limit on the number of games. If that image accurately states all conditions for an emergency recall of a defenseman, the only requirements for Guhle to be recalled are:

(1) The Sabres are in their second emergency condition and
(2) Sabres have already recalled a defenseman from Rochester.

So long as those two conditions are satisfied, Guhle can stay. Once one of the injured defensemen returns, Guhle goes back. Also, they can't keep him over the AHL defenseman.
