i think once you get to this stage its less about handedness and more about who will embarrass the least while they're up here.

In the East, the difference between the 8th place team and 15th place Sabres is 5 points. Those 7 teams between the Sabres and the playoffs are SOOOOO much better than the stinky Sabres.

If we were any bit better at shootouts we'd be 3-4 points ahead of where we are at least. Meaning we'd be knocking on a playoff spot. Sadly we are not.
