the fact that you don't believe in a TO tank doesn't mean you drink the kool aid.

the fact that you defend every benning move incessantly shows your high BKA level (Blood Kool Aid Level - similar to alcohol).

drink any more kool aid and you're going to need KAA. "hi, my name's don and i can't stay away from the kool aid."

- RealityChecker

sort of funny. I view every transaction objectively and I am not attached to any player or person in the organization. I defend Benning often because of my dislike for many of the crying b!tches on this site that moan like their dog was run over after every transaction.

maybe some of us want to actually give JB time to do his job? Im not a huge fan of JB, but he's only just started to implement his plan, why dont we see if it works or fails before you constantly nitpick every move? We wont know until the Sedins are retired if it worked or not, simple as that. Become a leafs fans if you want a tank

so basically your point is to "shut up and see what happens and if you want to criticize, go find another team."

well, lucky there's no conformity or kool aid drinking in this thread!

I'm glad you understand, your only other solution to your complaining is to become GM yourself.....

well as long as that's the reason and not the transaction itself.

It sure sounds like a great way to make the Sedins retire is to go out and sign guys like LE and try to make the team as competitive as possible right now.

Complaining about the coach, the goalie, former GM's, Sedins, Burrows, etc. all allowed.

Complaining about GM or any of his "prized acquisitions" isn't

the sedins suck but they will make the canucks competitive so they can't rebuild.

Oh the rebuild tactic definitely works, but its not the only way, plenty of teams have had success drafting in the middle.

I bring up TOR and EDM because that's where all the trash talk comes from it seems..... I can accept an PITT/CHI fan giving me the business because the teams/players have actually proven it.

Complain about his prized acquisitions if you like. With the benefit of hindsight, they have made plenty of mistakes. Vey..Forsling. But you should expect a bit of resistance if you complain about the same sh!t constantly over a period of 6 months.

I wasn't a fan of the Kassian/Prust trade...but he needed to go and had little to no value at the time.

I also did not get the Vrbata signing at the time (i didn't know anything about him, but was pleasantly surprised by his 1st season...later, not so much).

I also didn't like the Clendenning trade, but understood that JB was trying to shore up the youth on the team (similar to acquiring Vey, Sven, Granlund, Pedan, etc).

I also think he made some good moves and is not an incapable semi-retarded fool that some on here purport.

He has a plan, i can see the logic in it.

People still complain about the Neely trade here FFS. There were a pile of people unhappy with many of his moves the day they were made.

yep.

and it would suck a little if we lost Sven or Granlund in the expansion draft.

it is an interesting strategy to trade picks to fill that age void but I don't like that many of these players are no longer waiver exempt yet WD is or was loathe to play them. ie. Pedan.

Is your dream team something like this?

Mccan - Horvat - PA Paranteau
Jensen - Shink - cap space
Gaunce - Grenier - Bonino
cap space - Magma - Pirreli

Subban - Corrado
Forsling - Clendennin
Pedan - cap space
