Absolutly, nobody expected La to win in 2012, or carolina in 2006. Good goal tending and lucky bounces can change a series. True about those 3 i would also like another tough forward for top 6/9

Its funny we are essentially at the same point we were last year at this time.

But the team is younger overall and our prospect pool is improving slighly. But it is telling that the canucks are in the same position at the same time as last season.

Sell, sell, sell.

True, but the forward group were unstoppable. Sutter had them firing on all cylinders at the perfect time. Nobody had an answer for them in the playoffs.

Don't know if this has already been posted, but a great article from Willes on Hank and the Sedins from the viewpoints of the people around them during their careers:

If by the trade deadline Van is very much still in a playoff hunt literally in a spot or 2 points behind and playing good hockey.

Would you trade Hutton and a 1st this year (conditional that they make the playoffs) for an elite young forward?

NO!!!

As you have said many times it does not matter what we think.

If you listen to Bennings interviews he seems very happy with the progress. Crowds are coming back, The team is winning . Ownership is happy. Fans seem happy other than here.

When he came in he said he will make the team younger faster bigger, he changed out 14 players in 3 years. They may not be the players people here want but he did it,

This year he said the goal is to make the playoffs. They are close.

He said he will not ask players to waive , so I don't expect a big shakedown next month of moving assets.

I think you will see a trade next month and it will be Hutton . Burrows may go but the more I listen to JB the more I doubt it. I don't think he will be extended though. I think Boeser comes in next year.

I think anyone expecting another full set of changes is going to be screaming next month.

I heard UND is starting to player Boeser at center a few pages back.

We are deciding on the most effective time to start freaking out. It's obvious he doesn't want to play for the Canucks. Another wasted draft pick.

If they actually trade for a top 6 forward, Hansen should be traded for assets, because another forward means hes defiantly exposed to Vegas

I know this is nuts but I say it anyways.

There has been so much talk about keeping Sbisa . Canucks would need to dangle something to draw Vegas attention to another player.

Could exposing Hansen be that dangle?

Hansen could get you a second round pick but does Benning see keeping the D in tact more important.

Just a thought

It makes alot of sense, but if your vegas would you take a 31 year old Hansen over Sbisa with the year hes having this year

Det : Drew Miller placed on waivers. Should Canucks pick him up so the next time they play the parents will know what team to cheer for?

It will be Edler Tanev Gudbandson Tryamkin Stecher and Sbisa
- VANTEL

Tree on the right side so he doesn't hit Bo in the head. Tanev or Guds has to go.
