I swear I heard last night that the Oilers have got the loser point 16 times this season. I don't like that loser point at all. Unless they put 3 for a win.

Poor wording, saying they have been in overtime or S/O 16 times. Won most of them.

The Oilers have actually had 16 games go to either OT or Shootout. The Canucks have had 15.

I think the tightening of races was the point to allow teams to stay in the hunt longer.
