Boston could be a good trading partner with Van. - manvanfan
Any team with an excess of talented young prospects or willing to trade high draft pick(s) would be more accurate |

I don't think Hutton should be traded till the offseason. OJ won't be playing with Van this year. |

What is the deal with trading Hutton? A lot of Hutton pro-traders in the last thread... - LordHumungous
He's not that good. His shot is a muffin. He doesn't play physical. He's a decent skater and passer, but what does that get you?
Reminds me of Bieksa when he had that one good year, got paid and sucked more and more each year after. |

Does that mean they played for their original team until they scored 1000 pts. or that their entire careers until retirement were with only 1 team? |

The reason I think it is Hutton is because we don't miss him. But unless we are trading Hansen I doubt it is a TDL deal as any forward we get needs protection. I doubt Hutton gets us what we need in terms of a lottery exempt player. Something like Hutton to NYI for Strome+3rd would make sense. Maybe straight up, hard to say. But then we need to protect Strome and Baer gets protected over Hansen with Granlund being out exposed forward besides dorsett. We then either trade a pick to keep Granlund in expansion or we lose him to it. |

Technically Joe Sakic did it with one franchise, just in two different cities, 1015 points with Colorado, 626 with Quebec. |

Let's not forget that Strome put up 50 points in his sophomore season, so i think it might take a little more then Hutton.
That said, if we did acquire him i don't think it would matter much if we lost Granlund at that point. Bet you they take Sbisa in any case though. |
