I like Lehner the same way I liked Biron and Biron is one of my favorite Sabres of all-time.

Here's a fun fact: Biron and Miller's career stats are almost identical. Miller had the one Vezina season on the President's trophy winning team.

I wanted us to keep Biron then, and while he had the occasional stinker, he didn't consistently get beat high glove or 5-hole.

Lehner is not even close to being a problem, you just don't trade 1st rounders for them and we all know Timmy boy was just throwing Uncle Murray a bone so let's (frank)ing move on from it.

Lol no, I'm 31, I just didn't bother looking it up but either way, my point was that Miller wasn't much, if any better than Biron with the exception of his Vezina year and his numbers weren't even that great that season. Also, they kind of took into consideration his performance in the Olympics in their decision that season.

Im not in that little click. The woe is me, the world is ending, the sabres are horrible at everything, and we only win because the other teams play bad. AKA The Negative Nancys. But its a lot easier to call ya'll the Nancys.

NHL must be happy that talent is so watered down in this league there are only 2 teams out of the playoff race heading into the All-Star break.

I think playing for Lindy Ruff did a number on some goalies here. And it's not a coincidence that goaltending is Dallas's issue now.

.929 SV% is amazing. He was 2nd only to Rask who only played in like 30 games whereas Miller played in 69.

With those 2 goalies? No, not a coincidence at all. Sure Niemi won a cup, but Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl, neither guy won them for his team, they just didn't (frank) up too much.

Awesome. Leafs just lost in the shootout. Plus Tampa Bay getting hammered.

Sad Clarke MacArthur won't play this year, I always like him.
