Hasek and Miller both thrived in his system and loved playing for him.

Bogo, Holy S, KaB00000000000000000M! Just finished the game on DVR and disconnected from the world. WOW! Game of the season. The saves! They go to commercial break, with Franson fluttering one at the net, I start thinking how much he sucks, they come back from commercial and he ties the game.

Made dinner with the lady and kept the phone silent, just finished watching this "Horrible" team beat the best team in the conference, in their barn, with the Best Goalie in the League on the end of a back-back. This team has a number of valid areas of improvement, but since the lines were put back together the players really have responded. If people don't see this as growth in a really positive way, they are just negative because they are negative , but I love them all because we are all fans of the Buffalo Sabres

Bogosian really has been improving his game, just didn't want to mention it after how horrid his play was.

Holy S, check out the intensity of the schedule right out of the "post all star" gate. February is packed even with their bye week at the end of the month. Get it effin crankin.

I like Lehner the same way I liked Biron and Biron is one of my favorite Sabres of all-time.

Here's a fun fact: Biron and Miller's career stats are almost identical. Miller had the one Vezina season on the President's trophy winning team.

I wanted us to keep Biron then, and while he had the occasional stinker, he didn't consistently get beat high glove or 5-hole.

Lehner is not even close to being a problem, you just don't trade 1st rounders for

A couple of games ago had entered the zone with the puck and made a nasty move on the d-man. Unfortunately Eichel did not think Bogo would go solo and went offsides but I was like 'What the hell was that?'. I think there is serious untapped potential there.

I see no reason this team can not contend for the rest of the season. Finally have all the Forwards healthy. Risto is the definition of anchor on D. Lehner's response after the blowup on Bylsma is exactly what you want to see, rallying points for this team moving forward. Either Wild Card or one of the top three in the division are definitely attainable. Been following this team ever since Byslma took over, the Eichel pick, Risto's development, and the O'Reilly move, should be a fun team for the foreseeable future.

That's why I keep saying we need to sign a guy like Alzner to partner with him, so Bogo can use his wheels more & push play up the ice
