What good does it do to complain again about what Murray gave up for Lehner at this point?

All that matters now is A. that Lehner plays well while improving and B. that his next deal is a brudge deal at a reasonable rate.

We have 3 AHLers playing on defence right now and a terrible lack of depth in that position. We have a large, relatively slow 3rd line winger (Foligno) playing with Jack and Samson. Yet we are still debating a trade that happened 18 months ago and the goalie who we got has a top 10 save % (starters) in the league. I guess I am in the minority when I think it's time to move on from the trade/Lehner and focus on more pressing issues.

True. Btw, garf is saying Sabres are after Duchene which is comical on multiple levels

So Garf has his down sides for sure, but most of the targets he continually says we are after end up being true. Fowler is most recent that comes to mind, but I feel like there are a bunch more (Kane, O'Reilly). No saying we get him (see Fowler) but that we have made plenty of calls inquiring about.

I want my GM calling about this player, not sure if price I would pay, but I want him calling.

As you say, how about upgrading our D, what can we do? Most likely that is done in off season, unfortunately. Maybe the scoring winner is in the system already for Eichel, but that might be 1-2 years away.

Bogo will get picked up by Vegas. Book it. They need the cap hit and a top 4 Dman and he did not transfer his NTC over from WPG. Murray will expose him.

Reinhart, or Reino (most definitely not Skunk.....is that a hockeybuzz thing??? ), is the type of player this team hasn't had in a very long time. Did anyone see those 2 backhand passes he made to Jack going into the slot against DET & MTL? I haven't seen this kid make a mistake for a long time. Well beyond his years.

GMTM should make a move for a LHD, and with Bailey & Baptiste both top 10 in AHL scoring at 21, I would move Nylander tomorrow. Carrier playing decent and hang onto Kane for another year. Package Nylander, Ullmark and a pick for a top LHD (Fowler?). Sign Petersen and Borgen for ROCH when their NCAA seasons end.

Anyways my 2 cents. Boys look good in 2017. The 2nd half jump is starting to become a trend.

He scored for the 1st time in like 5 or 6 games today in Rochester. Bailey is killing it there
