Luckily, NHL scouts are much smarter than you and draw their opinions from a larger sample than one game. - neem55
Unluckily, ours may not be. |

90 seconds away and a soft play by Daniel , otherwise we are the champions of the world - VANTEL
I had a bad feeling there after he slipped the check and John announcing opening goal scorer rushing in. It smacked of trouble. Though it looked like it would be contained. Tough detection and bounce though.
Was it wrong line matching? Or WD was actually going for win with his puck possession line? Don't know. Too much second guessing. |

And just so you know, half the fun is the banter back and forth about "I know more than you". Some people do however have better insight on singular subject matter, thru experience or research, than others on here.

I think we can all agree this roster sucks. |

Stecher was on the ice when Danny didn't check and let the guy go in and shoot on the game winning goal ,no chance . |

I believe the initial shot was tipped wide....you can apologize to Miller when you see the replay - LeftCoaster
lol…not likely. A wrist shot from 40 feet out tipped a bit or no…Miller still stared at it a foot out of the blue paint as it hit the boards behind him…way out of position but hey…I'm a Dman easier to blame the goalies... |

Ya I edited my post, I was in error thinking the defense has any blame in a loss. |

Actually, we can't agree on that at all.
Mostly it's WD's fault. |

Danny tried to check. Didn't the guy just flat out beat him with power speed effort. Bounced off and kept going. Looked bad on Danny yes. But reason for goal. No.
That was a Good grief Charlie Brown moment. You know when fate said to the team sorry Charlie no kick at the footbal today
Darn them "Lucy" Hawks they got a nack for pullling those stunts on the Nucks.
Edit: for Golfing who needs help with comprehension on his fortune cookies.
That was a "Peanuts" reference on futility for effort. |

miller said after the game the ice was the worst hes ever seen it, the winning goal was the first time the puck stayed flat and the ice was soft as poope so he couldn't get the push he needed to get over, I thought so watching the game guys were falling for no reason. |

Where did all the pinheads go after the first period that were wondering why teams are calling about our d, the juggernaut hawks had like 10 shots after the first. - Bettmanhatesus
i hope u weren't referring to me. My post meant it as being a nice surprise for the canucks. that we have become so deep at D |

The ones who like the no excuse saying when Nucks lose.
For me. It was a tough loss on a deflection and bounce out. That's two recently that caught Miller looking bad. Not his fault though. Hard fought by the boys to come back. Ugly reward for their efforts. Maybe they get more luck on the next one. - Nuck4U
ya there shouldnt be any head hanging from that game. They kept it close against a powerhouse team. |

I think we can all agree this roster sucks. - bloatedmosquito
WELL compared to what?
I thought the agreement was we all want the roster to improve.
The how to do that. Plus what level team is at now is the banter of differing opnions.
Every time before a game there is the predictable postings of a blow out. That the team will be back to reality of how bad it is by the superior slapping it will take.
But despite all these predictions. This group keeps games close more often then not. Comes back often. Has rarely taken a night off and been spanked. So there are things to like.
AS much as it sucks that they aren't any longer an elite Cup contender. The Nucks are competing and developing a solid work ethic and attitude. This can be carried over by the younger players. It all benefits the next core group. |
