I guess JB has to decide if he wants to keep WD or Pedan.
could Pedan be the 7th dman next season? If he is here at training camp, would he clear waivers? if it is predicted he would, is it even worth keeping him around?
are there any other clubs interested in him this season? does he have any value?
as per the adventure stuff, not too many guys go from ahl to nhl without making any mistakes along the way. but the decision is whether it is worth the mistakes to see if it will work out?
Our d has been a bit of a bright spot, we haven't fallen apart when we saw injuries.

Most of us here are not WD fans ,but the players sure like him

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having depth on the farm. - VANTEL
Maybe I'm looking at it from what I'd want to ideally see.
Guys on the farm playing well and getting rewarded is great, but hopefully those same players are waiver exempt.
When we have to start exposing those guys to waivers, there is a bit more risk. Other teams look at players playing well in the ahl and wonder if they could add anything to their nhl clubs.

Guessing Biega will sit when Larsen is cleared to play.
lots of juggling.
why did they even recall Pedan if they didn't intend to play him? or it was the reaction to the 5 dmen dressed.
maybe if he was dressed, he would only play 5 mins a game.
( I just want to see some of these guys play. almost wanting to see guys get injured because that is the only way we will see guys get a shot.) - hillbillydeluxe
I think it was important to play Biega to make sure we had a cap complient Dman in case Benning finds a way to protect or trade Sbisa
I guess I'm ranting a bit. lots of factors to consider.
I'd rather see Pedan given a shot and fail, but maybe if he is not given that shot, lost on waivers and fails with another team it is no different. - hillbillydeluxe
It may come next year . I doubt we see him again this year unless its playoffs
